What is your Biggest Fear?
So I was at my girlfriend’s house and met her younger sister for the first time. I guess this is getting serious as I’ve never really responded to family dinners and what not. What can I say, I like her.
Her mom’s a great cook. She’s part Hispanic, too so, you can just imagine the sumptuous goodness of the dinner I had. Everything went just fine until I asked for some bread. Then my girlfriend started snickering. I asked her what it was about and she whispered to her younger sister and then her sister nodded and made some sort of approval.
As it turns out, her sister used to fear bread. That’s right, bread. Made of flour, that one you put in the oven. I’ve never met anyone who’s feared something as strange as bread. BREAD for crying out loud. So, I thought of writing this one. I want to know what you fear and I want to know if there’s anyone in the world that can top that phobia. I’ve googled it, and nothing’s come out so far.
I feared clowns. Not original, I know.

I had a girlfriend once who was severely afraid of pendulums.
or anything that basically could swing. the thought that it would just keep swinging back and fourth drove her crazy, and she would flip out to the point of attacking people if she was unable to stop something like this from swinging.
Her mom had a plastic ball tied to a string in the garage, which was for parking the car, when the ball hits the wind sheild, your in far enough. anyway, i just accidentall hit this once sending it swinging, and ive never seen such a reaction, she just crumpled into a ball on the ground abd basically cred until i stopped it.
hows that?
Oh and im 100% serious

There are actually reports of people who are terribly afraid of swallowing too much air. That’s just one step away from the fear of breathing.

I fear anything with a series of parallel lines (not lined paper but designed things) and anything with evenly spaced holes or same sized dots. It’s weird. And unexplainable.
When I was little I was fiddling around with my dad’s shaver and cut my thumb. There were 3 slices of skin on my thumb for the next 2 weeks. I had to band-aid it up the whole time till it healed cause I cried everytime I looked at it. Ahaha.
More recently, last year at my now-ex’s house, we were sitting in the dining area when I looked up and saw the wall had a really shoddy paintjob and there were lumps all over the top bit of the wall. I cringed and I’ve never been in the room since.
I don’t know why it errs me. It just makes me feel all yuck and wrong inside. But there are some things which oddly dont bother me. I don’t know
