What’s up with Baron Davis nowadays?  Well…. He just invited people to challenge him.  You would think that if Baron Davis challenges you it would happen in a basketball court with a ball and would require slam dunks.  But no, this guy has a life outside the NBA and apparently it’s in a social networking site.

Baron Davis has challenged the world to have, own, grow the best beard ever.  According to AOL Sports, Davis has started an online competition that requires people to grow a beard and compete with him online, as to who has the best beard in town.

So he’s a talented basketball player, an indies filmmaker and now a beard challenger.  What’s going to be next? Funny though — this is a testament that this guy is truly fantastic.  It is also proof that not all basketball players are dumb.  He’s a great player, he’s rich and he’s down to earth and fun enough to compete with the whole world as to who has the best beard.  Amazingly enough, some of the readers of this article are taking up the challenge. Should I join the challenge as well?
