Sink or Swim

So in between work here I go again. I was browsing online for what could be some of my source of happiness. I logged on to one of my favorite sites and guess what, it was like stumbling upon a mine of gold. No, not really gold. Not even close.

Here I have managed to put together a very short list of alienatingly funny videos. On this site you will find several spoofs of Thriller in Bollywood version and Spanish. SRSLY

So okay I get highly entertained by some things that don’t strike other people’s eye.

Next, would be one of the videos that have played with my mind, my brother’s mind, my friend’s mind, and my co-worker’s mind. It is ground-breakingly horrible that it became entertaining enough to watch. The problem lies on you ending up with the song stuck in your head. I’ve had the same problem and guess what? There seemed to be no cure to it. View at your own risk and enjoy.

I’m not a girl – but this is something for the girls. Not for anything but I like how this video was made. Very amateur and yet it has successfully delivered the point. Yes I can relate to this a little bit because something similar happened… except it was about a few things not close to lip gloss.

Last but not the least I want to share the Hoff. If you want something life changing, be my guest.

Good lord. I have never come across this many brainless inventions in one site alone. But for the heck of it, why not feature some of them here?

The Ipod toilet paper dispenser. I seriously can’t thank the think tank for this marvelous invention. Sheer genius, guys. What do you think? It totally suggests that you listen to music while you take a dump. Well, I commend the inventors of this item. What troubles me is that its not really useless. In fact the dock works and the dispenser gives out toilet paper… but yeah, we are on the dumbest inventions, word per word.

Toothache candy. Actually I want to get this thing for my niece. Apparently you’d have to dip the tiny teeth into that red fluid that tastes like cherry or so the website where I found it said, and you’d have to use tweezers like a dentist. I think its strange. Not necessarily dumb. But I want people to know that there is such a thing hence it made part of the list.

Pet stairs. PET STAIRS?!? Who needs pet stairs?! Pets can  jump, they’re agile and they can actually reach places without having to use this invention. Why would anyone? WHY? Tell me why? I have a dog, and you know what, I’ve never had a problem with him going up the couch. Really.

The best way to make fun of friends is by pulling off pranks! Why wait until April 1st when you can do one anytime? There are a lot of fun stuff you can do but the best way is to embarass them then upload it on the internet, for everyone to see! Here’s five things you can try out, just make sure you don’t get caught before pulling it off!

1. Take a picture of your friend while he’s asleep - This is a classic, and it’s easy to pull off during drinking parties or sleepovers. You can also try drawing on his/her face before taking the photo! For great effect, make sure you post it in a site lots of people are sure to come in, like your blog or in social media sites.

2. Record the prank on video and upload it! - Suprising a friend and getting his reaction on video is comedy gold, and will be a guaranteed hit! You can also do pranks to a sleeping friend, preferably after doing #1 for more laughs. Just make sure you have a handicam to record it, then upload it to sites like youtube!

3. The Prank Call - How do you do a prank call in style? Right now there are applications called “soundboards” which have recorded voices that you can play over the phone to fool your friends! For this to work you need a speaker phone and a mic. Then after recording, go ahead and upload it! Here’s one using the famous “Kerpal” soundboard:

4. Scary Maze Prank - This is actually a part of #2, but it’s a surefire way to scare your friends silly! There’s a flash game that shows a maze that your friend will be trying to solve, and after solving it a scary face from “The Exorcist” will come up! Once he screams in fear, make sure you record their reaction!

5.Elaborate Pranks - These pranks require the most work but they’ll surely fool everyone and leave them clueless! They require extensive planning and a budget, but pulling off these practical jokes will be priceless. Check out this neat office prank as an example:
